That woman is completely right. I am a white perky girl and she is completely right. It really annoys me when people just say 'and I'm a Christian.' when describing themselves. I mean, it would be MORE shocking if she was from Texas and WASN'T Christian. I have no problem with her though, but she definitely be my last choice for the money.

@Ryhnhart communist nations get rid of religion because it takes absolute authority away from the state. If belief in a higher authority is shut down, the state becomes the be-all and end-all of everyone's lives. Sure, you've got the Marxist philosophy that "religion is the opiate of the masses." But how many officials do you think actually believe that? They more likely censor it for the practical purposes.

It's just expressing one's freedoms. However I would probably be prejudice against Religious people, being an Atheist myself and despising it.
