Powerbuilding or Power Bodybuilding uses bodybuilding exercises performend in a power momentum style (like in olympic lifting) to build up muscle mass and explosive real-world-strength (how do you throw a heavy garbage bag in the container?). Powerbuilding strengthens the tendons and connective tissue and the nerve-to-muscle-connection like no other training style! Power Bodybuilding was made popular in the early 90's through world's strongest Powerbodybuilder Jimmy "The Iron Bull" Pellechia. By the way, Jimmy's training series in the popular magazine "Muscular Development" and his incredible power were the reason why I started training in '93! Thank you for that, Jimmy, you are the best!

  • nice swing dude lol, that will pretty much do nothing as far as gains go, just go lighter and do it properly, good to see you want to go heavy though.

  • So, arms of 44,5 cm drugfree on a hardgainer are nothing...?

  • dude, you're pretty annoying. this guy doesn't train for useless sarcoplasmic hypertrophy like you possibly do with your "strict form feel the muscle" attitude. he trains like a power bodybuilder, he trains for functional muscle growth, and that's how you get it - train your body as a one piece and use momentum because that what your body is designed to do.

  • Finally one guy who understands exactly the point behind training like that :-)

  • depends, I know tricep take up most room on an arm and depending on how much fat you carry on the arm aswell, careful of those tendons dude.

nice to hear you doing it drug free tho good to hear, I too have the mentality of go heavy or go home, but when it comes to arms each to there own, it really quality of reps for me.

  • If you watch on the biceps workout from coleman you can notice he is using a swing when he is doing dumbell curls so it ok to use a swing If the curl movement is well executed
