"Oh you plank, you missed it..." Such a legend, Rob makes me so proud to be Welsh :)
-
Stephen Fry genuinely tried to kill himself like that. Awkward.

I sat here for about five minutes pressing 7 over and over to hear him say "Do a u-ey."

@mburke875 so now we have a sat nav connected to a catalytic converter and between the 2 of them, they decide whether you deserve enough carbon monoxide from the exhaust to terminate your worthless existence! looks like "rise of the machines" could actually happen!
-
@mburke875 You not only die from toxic gasses, burning any type of fuel uses oxygen and releases CO², the burned exhaust is low in oxygen. Using a pump (your engine) to pump CO² in a small area drives out the oxygen. So after certain time you fall asleep (with a headache) and die. There are more efficient ways to die.

@justamick1 Your keyboard is broken.

@TheDoctorSubscribed [Grinning] I don't think you can actually get the SatNav, but if you put your mother-in-law in the back seat with a map, you can get pretty much the same effect (at least with the average mother-in-law) ^_^

@666BrotherofMetal [Flatly] One method to commit suicide is to stick a rubber tube into the exaust pipe of a car and feed it through the car window. Eventually the fumes cause the pilot's death by suffocation/poisoning. Basically the SatNav is saying "You are so awful at driving it is best you just die here and now"...

@morthasa no longer works as most cars have a catalytic converter on the exhaust.

@mburke875 [Thoughtful] I think it would still work: even if most of the toxic gasses (NOx, CO etc.) are removed (and that only really happens 100% when your converter is in top condition and at a certain temperature) it is still a pretty foul gas mixture, and if you concentrate it in a small area it will probably suffocate you.
