Actually, since Toph learned from badgermoles rather than her proper instructor, she ended up using a totally different style than all the other earthbenders in the show.
I believe you are all aware of the "Praying Mantis" style. :D

@SABER7869 Sifu Kisu, an awesome martial artist and the martial arts advisor for Avatar. They wanted to use legitimate martial arts instead of a bunch of silly flailing and wasted movements (I'm looking at you, M. Night), so they got an actual martial arts practitioner/teacher to advise and demonstrate the four (actually, at least five, since Toph's Earthbending is based on Chu Gar instead of Hung Gar, IIRC) styles of Kung Fu used in the show.

This guy is a total boss. I want a 50 minute video of him doing nothing but imitating all the styles, switching from one to the other at random. And, of course, he can take breaks, but cut those out so it can seem like he actually spent 50 minutes just doing that non-stop straight like the epic being he is.

@darksantos1 Shaolin=fire=quick and unrelenting, if you let your guard down for a second you'll be overtaken just like fire can burn things to ash in seconds :P

@darksantos1 Shaolin is more of an offensive style of attacking. Never letting their opponent breathe without an incoming attack

HUNG gar=earth= in real life the stances root to the earth making it strong and solid
Bagua=air= with circular motion it makes the fighter as quick and versetile as the wind
taichi=water= a way of fighting that is based on using the oppenents power against them without using streangth taking the opponent down like water brakes trough rock
Shaolin=fire= this styles just like fire heats up when seen and used (im not sure lol)
