  • I love this scene. *-* Tender moments are so rare in The Tudors. But when they happen they're so lovely.

  • I think that Jane really represented family and motherhood to Henry after the passion and the ups and downs he had with Anne

  • so much tenderness and love in the look between them...woww

  • i love the intense look between them...tender and loving...it makes me tremble the way he looks at her...

  • @peacedesertrose Well, this is not truth...In the first season, when he met anne after epidemic and being sure she was safe is a good and not only example. But it's just an opinion.

  • it is a beautiful scene..he is sooooo smokin!

  • @Rally767 I think Catherine was probably his 1st "love" like a 1st girl friend. Anne was the "passion" of his life.Jane Seymour was probably the one woman who could have held his heart. She was intelligent (though not well educated, historians think that she was barely literate), she was kind & sweet & gave him the 1 thing none of his other wives did-a son. He would have taken more mistresses, but he would always love her....look where they are buried.....

  • The way he looks at her speaks volumes. He never looked at any of his other wives in this same way.

  • Henry was certainly passionately infatuated with Anne Boleyn, but Jane's sweetness and serenity utterly stole his heart. Anne was wild, free-spirited, and hot-tempered, whereas Jane was the perfect Tudor wife - Quiet, demure, graceful, and very respectful to her husband. She wasn't stupid either, because she had her own agenda to make England a Catholic country again through the King.

  • So sweet! True love indeed.

  • She was his only love!

  • There was so much tenderness between Henry and Jane. He truly loved her the most.
