Many thanks for posting this movie. I had been looking for it. Raza Murad is a talented actor. Also, one may think that the Hollywood movie Scream is inspired by Cheekh, no?

you are welcome friend :-) even i saw this movie first time back in around 1985 - 1987.....i don't even remember the correct year. later i could only remember the man in the mask and that it had javed khan as the leading actor. i don't know about the english movie scream and havn't seen it so can't really say if it's a remake of cheekh. still i like the horror and especially madhu malhotra looks quite attractive here :D

i've heard beethovan's fur elise a couple of times on windows 98 :D

raza murad lives here in delhi, in jamia nagar i suppose. my dad saw him once while he was booking some flight tickets :-) a real strong personality. i think his father murad was also a great actor and acted in films like mughal e azam and shahenshah (as the judge).

yes, this is heavily inspired by beethovan's moonlight sonata. you can get it here on yt. its really a haunting melody. so is beethovan's fur elise, which is more commonly heard.

of course raza murad is a good character actor with huge screen presence and a powerful voice. i like him more when he comes as some shayari oriented character.

actually the vcd is older original and while even the dvd has copyrights but its a 3in 1 with 2 other horror movies which also have same kind of quality, even the audio is not better than the vcd.

it is funny that vcd quality is far better than dvd. actually if you had not said that here, due to involvement in the movie, it would have been hard to notice the insertion.

the piano number from 4:40 is quite haunting. i think it is from beethovan's compositions.
