Stereotyping, someone can be a cruel thing to do. The eyes are first thing to respond in connecting with new person. Without knowing a thing about the person we judge them based on their outside appearances to fit them into a role. For all we know they many not belong in that category, but many of us still do this anyway. One reason is because of films. We do this so people could understand where a character is coming from and where they are going without saying it verbally. My project proposal for collaboration with Cindy Sherman would use the theme of stereotyping a person fit into a role.

When I was a little girl I loved watching Sailor Moon, where average girl become a magical girl. Now that I'm adult I realized many anime (Japanese cartoons) stereotype their characters.What if a girl was magical girl, but she didn't fit profile of one does that make her less of a Magical Girl. .
