I believe that noise isn't from the camera. Alot of snorkel and dive places use devices to emit certain sound frequencies to excite the fish and repel sharks...or it could have been a idling boat.

How accurate are these colors? I've read some reviews that say the TS2 (and Ts1) have very washed out looking colors when shooting underwater
