I really do love this song to bits. Sung by José Paradis (thank you, Hippiekid =D )

Here's some vocab:
monde - world
homme - man
là - here (can also mean "there")
aveugle - blind
empêcher - to prevent or to stop someone/smthg from doing smthg
rien - nothing
rêve - dream (noun)
perdre - to lose or to be lost
étoile - star

Translator's Note:
The phrase "haut comme tois pommes" (as seen at 0:50 ) is an expression that literally translates to "tall as three apples". This could make sense like that, but I looked into it a little further and found out that it figuratively translates to "short as a grasshopper" or the idiom "knee-high to a grasshopper".

I do not own Treasure Planet.

  • hi any way to download this legally? :} and who sung this? thanks :D

  • @sidekickodafudgeking There's a link in the description to download the song. :) I haven't been able to find it on iTunes unfortunately. The singer is José Paradis.

  • You mind if I use the translation to a Multilanguage? I'll give you credit by it, of course :D

  • @astronet100 Of course, go ahead! :D

  • "You think I am as short as a grasshopper."

Meh, I guess they had to make the next liken rhyme /somehow/. XD

  • @kakashiisawesome1222 "Knee-high to a grasshopper" is the idiom in English (don't know why I didn't put that). The literal translation of the French line is "tall as three apples."

  • Hi, this is José Paradis, I'm the french Canadian singer who sang that song, you can't find that song anywhere, there was no single, it was only on the movie.

But if you want to know more about my professional career visit birthdaysongbox or joseparadis on the web.

    Thanks for your comments!

    José
