This is my Cessna 152 Guillows kit built as RC plane. It has 4 channels control (including ailerons and steering front wheel). Maiden flight took place at Mather Aerospace Modelers field in Rancho Cordova, CA. For more information about MASM visit www.masmrc.com.
This model was painted like original N67405 owned by Cal Aggie Flying Farmers in Davis, CA. Video is dedicated to Sean O'Leary, my best flying instructor who thought me to fly on original N67405. For more information about Cal Aggie Flying Farmers visit www.calaggieflyers.com.

  • Very nice replica, I currently fly out at Cal Aggie and flew N67405 today. It was repainted last year to be blue and white.

  • I'm not going to repaint the model :-)

405 was my favorite plane when I was working on my private. I wish the COM is "flip" type. It is PITA with the current radio. For practice communication try to fly my "torture flight": KEDU - KSAC -KMHR - KSMF - KEDU. With all proper communication (getting ATIS before calling tower at every airport and flight following from KMHR to KSMF) you will get really busy. I counted 19 frequencies to change (13 if you get lucky and stay on Tower for taxi back).

  • WOW! Very nicely built airplane and great flying! I am building one of these as a display for my dad. I am doing his paint scheme/N number. Do you have any advice about building this model? What type of paint did you use and how did you get the straight lines? I was going to mask it off with tape but thought the tape would rip the tissue. I plan on making movable doors/windows and full interior. Its my dad's favorite airplane and I want to make it really scale. Again, great job!

  • I love the shot with the real N67405 behind it. :)
