Bechsteins are good pianos. I actually got to play one from Berlin, circa 1892. Loved it.
Anyway, my point was that if you're looking for "piano music" (as Debussy called it in his endorsement of Bechstein), perhaps you shouldn't navigate to videos of people playing synthesizers at NAMM. A more appropriate search might be Glenn Gould or Sviatoslav Richter.. Perhaps if you're deligent, you'll even find a recording of Rachmaninoff himself.
But I'm sure they were no match for you.

well - here´s an extremely well educated guy........xD
I´d rather choose a Steinway made in Hamburg - like many pianists,
but very honestly I prefer a Bechstein from Berlin. Anyway -
this here seems to be the simple minded rock´n roll area of Youtube where criticism is mixed up with snob appeal......

Well, the first problem with your comment is that he's not in fact, playing a piano. It's a synthesizer workstation. If you want a real piano, why don't you go buy a 9' Fazioli? Oh, I'm sorry.. you're in Germany. I meant Bosendorfer (fine pianos, sure, but "crappy piano sound" compared to Fazioli).
Then again, Bosendorfer has that fourth pedal for raising the dampers.. Oh WAIT... that's Fazioli!
Anyway, the second problem is that you're a snob. Kiss my classically-trained ass.
