The Howard Stern Show
1982-08-30
Howard Stern's First Day on WNBC

The clip runs for around 11:15, so I just clipped the sudden end off to fit the 11 minute duration limit.

  • Jackie was there and this was after Robin was fired from WNBC, watch the movie or read the book. This is not the first day he was on the air but maybe several months later after they fired Robin just to piss Howard off cuz they couldnt fire him.

  • @abbysdaddy22 Not quite true. Look at my posts above ^

  • This date can't be correct:Howard is heard talking about Henry Fonda's death, but he didn't die until Aug.12th.

  • It could be wrong. I have read from different sources on the exact start date.

  • earth dog Fred Norris lol.

  • thanks harv!

  • Howard Stern...what an untalented creep.

  • I wish I'd listen to Howard back when he was more energetic, now he is so worn out and tired. But I still love the show now, mostly Sal & Richard, Ronnie, and when Artie was on. Artie was the best thing that happened to the show.

  • @abbysdaddy22 You're half right.... read the book if you want the real timeline, but don't watch the film for an accurate timeline. The movie changed a few minor things to make it a better flowing story, but Stern's first NBC show did not have Robin (NBC didn't hire her at first, it took a couple months).

  • w NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN b c

  • Lets get the FACTS right: If you're trying to figure out the STern timeline, DON'T go by the movie. They took some liberties. FACT IS, Robin DID NOT initially move to NYC with Howard and Fred. She went from DC-101 back to Baltimore (WCBM-AM) because NBC hadn't hired her with Howard. Stern started on 8/30/82, then Robin was hired a couple months later, in November. The movie twisted things a bit.

  • @rentslave the 8th month is aug!!!! wow u idiot

  • he sounds exactly the same way he sounds today
