Using a .png image with black bars spaced evenly on top and below, I made a filter to use in Pinnacle Studio 14 Ultimate Collection, to make my standard 16:9 footage into roughly a 2:38.1, true widescreen shot. I think YouTube's uploading is going to scrunch the sides, however, but I will attempt to upload just the same.

  • Yup, YouTube scrunched it, but not as bad as I thought it would do. Overall, I'm happy with the upload, and even more happy with the new filter!
