Petzl E lite

Just a quick look at this neat little head lamp from Petyl. They label it as an emergency light but it makes a great lamp for hunting and camping. In my opinion the only thing that would keep it as an emergency light instead of the regular user us that the battery life is much less than on other models of lights and that it takes 2 watch type batteries instead of a mire common battery that you nay find more readily.

These sane things make it great as well. It's smaller, lighter, and more easily packed which means that you'll be mire likely to have it with you when you need it.

This is a great light for your bug out kit and for an automobile, it would be just as handy while changing a tire in the dark as it would be in a survival or camp situation. With a lithium battery that has a 10 year shelf life you can throw it in the bag with a couple of extra batteries and forget about it. Plus the batteries are cheap, don't weigh much, and hardly take up any space.

That's pretty cool, I wonder if that's why the price jumped up $10 around here. I saw one retailer selling them for $36, what a joke, I paid 12 or so for one of mine and $19 for the other.
