"Sebastian" is a Puerto Rican short film by my good friend Delfin Rivera; a joint venture between We.Are.The.Cult Films and Black & White Pictures. The story was written by Delfin Rivera and I (Derek Lee González) shot, edited and directed the photography for the film itself.

"Sebastian" explores the night between two young spirits while taking part in some past memories brought up by our main protagonist and showcasing the beginning as well as the outcome of those nostalgic experiences with the help of Debora.

NOTE: Headphones are recommended for those having trouble hearing the film. This movie currently has no subtitles and it's targeted towards those who know and understand the Spanish language. Subtitles will come in the upcoming months.

  • @dered908 Hi and thanks for the feedback. 1st, I suggest you watch more of my videos before criticizing my camera work, which is far from horrendous. 2nd, any camera work/photography/style was directed by Delfin Rivera and portrayed in this film accordingly to his visual idea. Lewis (actor who plays Sebastian) was a great sport and truly outdid himself with the part, so did Paola. Again, thank you for your feedback; have a good one.

  • Manic Pixie Dream Girl alert! ;-)

  • Personally, I would like to point out that the camera work is absolutely horrendous. You should seriously consider watching some more films, especially short films and consider leaving behind "hipster" techniques because they're absolute shit. Seriously, just choose a focus level and stick with it. Just advice

The acting is rather good, however. I especially liked the male role, Sebastian, the fellow seemed like a good actor.

    The soundtrack is phenomenal

Credits are the best part of the movie
