College catalogs should be required to display a cigarette pack style warning: something like--"Warning--going to college can leave you with a lifetime of debt!!!"

It isn't just current students who are suffering it is all the students who are carrying and paying their student debts back. We all thank the students of today for standing up and pushing back about this. Boycott Student Debts, refuse to pay! I guess it isn't really fair they have us in such a knot, being able to garnish wages or give you a bad credit rating. What if all students deferred their loans all at once. That would create some waves perhaps?

I have put off going to college until I was of 24 yrs of age, so as to not have to claim my parents income for financial aid. The "Expected Family Contribution" (EFC) can really hurt you if your family cannot realistically contribute, even if Federal Aid standards expects them to. And so I have worked hard and put off much of college, while still getting engaged, starting a life with my fiance and juggling it all while having to put many of my dreams on hold.
