why pull 100 cars when you can pull 6 just as gracefully, if not more.

Ob die BR18 201 nun die schnellste betriebsfähige Damplok ist oder nicht, ist mir eigentlich relativ "Wurst".
Allein die Linienführung der Aufbauten und des Tenders sind schon höchste Ingenieurskunst.
Unter Dampf, ist sie ein"Gedicht" für Augen und Ohren!
Mich stört an der Aufnahme nur der schiebende "Dieselklotz", obwohl der auch schön hergerichtet ist. Nur passt er nicht in das Gespann. Erstmalig habe ich sie zur 150 Jahr Feier der Leipzig - Dresdener Ferneisenbahn in Wurzen/Sa. gesehen.

The engine was repainted between 30 April 2002 and 10 July 2005 in a special red livery (RAL 3003, ruby red) sponsored by the model railway manufacturer, Roco.
