My water broke at 22 weeks. Ethan was born at 24 weeks. Ethan developed Nectorizing Entercolitis (NEC), a leading cause of death in preemies, his intestines perforated, causing fluids to leak into his bloodstream. His body became bloated making it difficult for him to breathe and his heart rate rapidly decreased. I was allowed to hold Ethan while he was dying. He took his last breath in my arms. Mommy misses you and loves you very much. Good bye my sweet angel.

  • This video brought back so many memories. I went into labor at 24 weeks and delivered 4 days later (25 weeks). My daughter had the first signs of NEC when they pulled her off feeds. Sorry to hear about your loss. May God Bless you and your family, through these times of sorrow.

  • Thank you

  • Watching your video brought back memories of also 20 years ago when my twins were born. My daughter also had NEC, but she did survive. My sweet Ryan is with your Ethan, free from pain. They are safe in the Lord's arm. God Bless....

  • I am sorry that Angel Ryan did not make it. The doctors told me that girls do better. I am happy that she made it and God bless

  • you are so brave for making this video. I know too well ow hard this must have been for you. We lost our baby Emilio to NEC a year ago, my water broke at 22 weeks and he was with us just a little over 30 days. Your story is a lot like mine and I know our babies are with our Lord, waiting for us to hold them. Have you tried again since? Thank you for sharing, I feel like Im not alone.

  • this was a beautiful video! it made me cry i had twins in the nicu born at 31weeks the were fortunate to be healthy enough to not have anything wrong! im so sorry for you loss and he was very beautiful! god bless

  • This hits too close to home, the doctors were scared my son would make it, I got severe preeclampsia and delivered 6 weeks early. My son made it healthy as a horse thank God, but now I've seen your video and it hurt my heart that little Ethan didn't make it. He was amazingly beautiful and I hope that he is better now that he is with God, no more pain. Please know that I pray for you and Ethan. God Bless.

  • im so sorry for loss. i lost a baby too, my first pregnancy, and almost lost my second, who was a preemie too, could have been born at 25 weeks, but was born at 35 2 months of bed rest and pain but it was well worth it, losing another baby would have been unbarable for me and my husband. i pray that you and little ethan are together in heaven when the time is right.

  • im so very sorry love. But God made a very special place for your little one. He is is safe, loved, and not in pain. You will c him again one day.
