My Tenneessee Road

I have compiled these pictures into a slideshow / movie for my mother, whom is battling Colon Cancer. I hope this helps her with thinking positive, which is the key in killing any disease. Some of the pictures are pictures of Morristown, TN. The music is sung by Melonie Cannon. Her voice sound just like a song bird.

Knoxville, TN, since 93. Prior to that I was military gypsy. First as a Navy brat, then my own career in the Corps. This is the first place I've ever actually put down roots. After my wife died I moved to coastal NC for about six months, then there was no resisting the call of the Smokies. I moved back to my home in Tennessee.

As Dorothy said, "There's no place like home!"

P.S. I recognized the the Morristown Main Street right away. Been there many times.

I can't blame anyone for wanting to live here in East Tennessee. No other place like it anywhere in the world . Even tho the Scot-Irish folks thought it look a lot like the home they left behind... Lived here all my life and can't think of a place I would rather be. I and my wife get out on the weekends and just ride the old winding roads. I take a lot of pretty photos but none come close to looking at it with the bare naked eye.. So many have seen it and stayed ...The song says it all for me.

love love love my daughter has been dancing with me to this commerical since the day she was born and after 2yrs it still makes me cry from a ga girl to a moutain women life is sure filled of surprises!!! Ilove my home tennessee thier is no better place i have found gods country here.
