@Major2219 - The slavery under the Egyptian king you refer to deals with the Hebrews, the supposed time scale at 1200 BCE. The Bible is not meant to be read literally.

The Jews not (Je-wish) went in to slavery twice. The first time we went into slavery under Pharaoh. Second time into a Land we didn't know, a language that we would know to be sold as slave woman & slave men.

@Major2219 - I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but slavery predates the Bible by thousands of years. Have you ever studied the cultures of ancient Sumer or ancient Greece?
