A montage to the Stargate SG-1 episode "1969" (Season 2).

Plot: A solar flare sends SG-1 into the past...to the year 1969. On the advice of a cryptic note and the discovery of their future boss, Colonel Jack O'Neill and his team work to find their way back to 1999.

The song is the Friends of Distinction song "Grazing in the Grass," which was released in 1969, and for some reason (As with all of my montages) made sense to me. I don't know, I just liked how it worked.

I also have an alternate idea for this episode with another song...stay tuned!

Enjoy! :-)

  • Great video! I still don't know the reason why Hammond wanted them to go back in time?:( It's driving me crazy...

  • @callepro - Thank you so much for watching! I did two versions of this montage because I had such a hard time picking a song! Check out the Alternate Version as well - with the overture from "Back to the Future."

You know, I can't figure out how Hammond knew this would happen!!! I try not to think about it too much, but when I first saw this ep, this song was just SCREAMING at me!!!!! :-)

I have many other SG-1 montages - be sure to check them all out!

  • @callepro Because the wormhole they went through had interference from solar flares causing them to go through time instead of space. Did you watch the episode?

  • @JPeel459 That wasn't my question and yes, obviously that is why they weren't supposted to change anything in the past, but why did they go in the first place?

  • @callepro Because he probably didn't want to change the timeline, it may have caused huge differences.

  • I love the fact that Teal'c calmly looks up at the butt of the rocket, raises his zat, and fires.

  • @callepro

Well if he would have stopped them, the past would have been changed.
