I remembered the show was commissioned because of the success of The Teochew Family (潮州家族）It was written by two of the top storytellers TCS had, Cheng Jieyin, Xu Shengliang (Both wrote The Teochew Family) The Little Nyonya can't beat the dialect-related shows TCS once did.
