Alicia Keys "You dont know my name" cello cover by Elias Kahila

Elias Kahila plays cello cover of Alicia Keys song "You dont know my name", (please go buy the Alicia Keys album "The Diary of Alicia Keys" including the original version of this song http://www.itunes.com). My cover is influenced by Barry White. Barry´s voice was in my head and expecially the first verse and the middle part is all Barry-influenced, haha. I had this arrangement finished quickly, it was basicly one jam and i picked the best of the ideas of that jam session.

About sheet music: I play everything by ear, unfortunately i do not have any notes or sheet music of the cello tracks to this song, or other songs.

I am teaching pop/jazz cello in Jyväskylä & Helsinki, Finland. I would love to teach outside Finland as well.

@BluKing6 thanks for the request. I´d hate to let you down on this, but i am really not a classical cellist from my heart (i have a professional degree in classical, but still) and my channel is about pop/rock/funk/rhytm cello. thanks anyway for the idea.

@BluKing6 Yes for MJ. I recently noticed that Youtube likes it too - they chose "You are not alone" as a "featured video", which i am very thankful for. Thank you Youtube! I work really , really hard on everything that i put on youtube, including this clip, and i am a workaholic. plus MJ is special for me so it feels nice.
