200 million dollars for 1 fighter, is there like a lot of major wars going on right now that we need more than the 200 we were stupid enough to order. we can put a man on the mooon but go to any urban area and you see that America can't put a mentally ill man into a job or an apartment for lack for proper medical care.

@Michaeldean88 All I'm saying is that the technology the US thinks will last twenty years probably won't last ten. And I doubt it's just the EU trying to defeat stealth, either. Odds are, every major power is actively working on something, because the best way to deal with a stealth fighter is to remove its stealth ability. After all, stealth has been with us since the eighties, and If anything I'm actually surprised a dedicated anti-stealth RADAR system hasn't been invented yet.

@Tdawg429 Well seeing as how there isn't a single damn fighter in the world that can outmatch the F-22...Yeah I think they have reason to think so. Look ya can't see it on RADAR, it has a high weapons load, it's speed and rate of climb is on par with some fighters and well above most other fighters. Plus American training is 2nd to No one, with an extensive C & C structure. Trust me a 4 ship flight of 22's is about the scariest thing imaginable....

@AkulaCola Unless I'm very much mistaken, the EU is forgoing stealth technology and going for anti-stealth radar technology. So the F-22s will probably be screwed a lot sooner than this propaganda episode reckons it will be, and I think the Eurofighter Typhoon is also getting thrust vectoring upgrades, and it's already near F-22 levels of agility. I reckon the era of stealth will be a lot shorter than the experts think.
