Great presentation. Useful info in easy to understand language. I am embarking on this program for the next 4 weeks. Right shoulder impingement has never been too bad (after 30 years of lifting) but I am getting worried that it will escalate if not taken care of before its too late. Its going to be tough to give up my favorite overhead presses - but trusting I will come back stronger after this.

hey. first time i have ever left a comment on a youtube video but wanted to say a big thanks for taking the time and effort to put these 2 shoulder impingement videos together. i have had this problem now for about a year and have been doing a range physio exercises which are very different to those you suggested but they dont seem to be making much difference. Going to try some of ur suggestions and see how it goes. Is there a 3rd video or any additional exercises you can suggest ? Cheers

was wondering if you could tell me how your shoulder is doing now? i've had this problem for almost a year now, tried doing pt but made no progress. i have started doing the exercises that you have shown and am feeling confident. are you back up to full strength?

@scentsnsubtlesounds Yes back to full strength, I took a total of 10-12 weeks to complete the rehab, Also I got stuck at a point were progression had stopped if you look at the video on the subscapluar nerve this was the missing link as there was a neuropathic - nerve issue which the exercises helped. That simple video resolved the probs. Im still avoiding bar work and smith machines for shoulders only doing D/B and doing 1 rehab every two weeks to maintain.

Hey, thanks a lot for these two videos, they were both very helpful. You mentioned that you should stop upper body workouts like chest, shoulders and some back but I was wondering whether it is safe to continue working biceps and triceps or whether this would only further the damage. I would really appreciate your feed back. Thanks a lot

@chillybeach33 No probs Biceps should be ok, I would stay away from any overhead tricep work as that can still activate the rotator cuff area which can interfere with recovery, stick to press downs, kick backs etc.
