i loved this song very much for the first two lines......so i used to always asked my mother.......she used to sing for me...but then when i saw here....now....its sooo...soo.soo..tragic horrifying..and soo soo meaningful with so simple comparisions........hope such beautiful lyricists are still there today...(or at least do we have !!!!) great sri sri....and....so dedicated gantasala

Lyrics of Sri Sri show why he is genius, he nowhere identifies god in the song but the meaning clearly infers it to be god. The meaning of the song is so deep yet it resonates the thoughts of any common person.
Sri Sri can write songs, poems which are appreciated by common man and scholars alike.

Apparently Ghantasala garu had to drink a lot to be able to sing this song with a breaking voice. One of the great tragic songs of all time. Thanks for posting a cherished memory.
