We interrupt this deer season, to re-introduce some of our coyote hunting video classics with a whole new style. Eastern Coyote Hunting: Best of the Oldies Vol. 1 features the first pack of our early video bests. All of the action, more editing, higher resolution, background music, and about as much bang as you can rack and stack into a YouTube video. Enjoy this familiar footage once again, as we gear up for a whole new season in the coming weeks. Thanks, the Snipers from DownWind Outdoors.

Rifle: Remington Model 700 BDL .22-250

  • @DownWindOutdoors nice thats what i thought..........say can you help me? i need a new coyote,fox,and bobcat rifle 22-250,223,or243?

  • @TheTrapperluke sorry for the delay, I have good arguments for all three of those calibers as well as the 220 swift. We all use the 22-250 and couldn't be happier though. Remington 700.

  • Thanks everyone for the great comments and most importantly, taking a second to watch!!!

  • Where are you guys hunting at and what callers are you using?

  • Hats off to you succesfull east of the mississippi dog hunters! Its not easy! I know iam a OHIO dog hunter. A challange that is a blast!

  • @Marcus00924 the 17 hmr is what i am shooting now and i love it!!! but.......i am having to many run offs with the lil' 20grs of lead for the bigger yote's....for fox, coon and bobcat i could not be happier!!!!!

  • @TheTrapperluke thanks for the input.......a 22-250 will probably fit the bill!

  • @TheTrapperluke I've had all three. The 22-250 gets out there a little quicker and the 243 is a little too much power. The point of predator hunting is small guns with small animals. The 223 is by far the most cost effective, especially if you hand load. You can buy 1,000 223 brass from sites like gun broker for around $125. You can load roughly 250, 223 rounds with a pound of powder because it eats less than the 22-250, yet has all the same bullet options.

My new love is the 17HMR.

  • LMFAO!!!!! at 2:27 the coyote stop and looks up like o shit not these guys!

  • what calls you guys using?
