i am not much a theorist, but for the intro i use F#Maj7/9 C3 at the top(melody) then DbMaj7/Eb(move it up in whole steps to G#Maj7 to EbMaj7/F...etc... the verse i use Amajor with melody leading tone(Amajor7 with the E at melody to Eb7#9, then slide 1/2 step to Gmaj7 to Db7#9...then dminor 9th then bass note to G(Fmaj7th/G) then resolve to AMajor7th...i kinda add color to that and alternate a lot...i like to play off of the left hand bass...its just a load of fun...thanks
