@Eirene001 what does that mean? I'm not Indian. Oh, and by the way, i'm heading there this summer. I'm seeing both Devil's Tower and the Black Hills.
-
okay really? you guys have anger issues. I think the dude who made the video was just trying to point out that we need to take care the enviroment even though it was owned by Indians.
P.S. the title does sound like you want to start a riot.

@AngryActivist45 Are you serious?White man? I lived in the hills for years and they are still one of the most spiritual places I have been. I am white, and have seen many Lakota throwing trash right out their window, or bottles in others yards. It is a problem with lack of respect, by humans. I don't know where you smelled sulfer? Crazy Horse by Custer is a huge eyesore and Mt. Rushmore is nothing more than grafitti on a huge scale. I am with you, but is is not just a white problem. Peace

@InvincibleIrishman Even non-Native Americans should be able to understand that to carve images of American presidents into a mountain that was well known to have been a traditional sacred place to Native Americans was a sacrilege. I'm not Native American but it's clear to me why Native Americans would consider it an an abomination to take the mountain, known as Six Grandfathers by the Lakota Sioux, rename it for a New York lawyer, and deface it for the purpose of increasing tourism.

@InvincibleIrishman Were in my statement did I say that the Crazyhorse carving was ok.? I do not think Crazyhorse himself would approve of such a thing. America is into its memorials not Native Americans. It is great to remember but for the sake of selling souvenirs it is a crime. Just watch eventually you will be able to buy 9/11 t-shirts in New York at that memorial. I am just saying that these carvings in the Black Hills are the US governments ego at work.
-
@lonewolf13scott So paying homage to some of AMERICA'S greatest leaders is out of the question, but a carving dedicated to crazy horse is just fine, i mean it is perfectly fine to have pride in your heritage, i know I do, but that doesn't mean you should be hypocritical, when crazy horse is just as much of an abomination on the land by your definition. What i am trying to say is be proud of your heritage, but also have some national pride for god's sake!

@AngryActivist45 Oh yeah and educate them how? In what manner? Because it sounds like you are inciting violence, and see how well that has worked out in the past. It has nothing to do with the white man, it anything it has to do with the government. And i wonder if you have ever even been on a reservation? because if you have you would see what the Native Americans do to their land as well, so don't act all high and mighty!
-
You people have got to be kidding me, for you say yourselves that the Native Americans could not own land because it is sacred, so how can anybody steal it if it never belonged to them? And the pollution... where did you go were you saw so much pollution? I have spent days walking around the black hills, and i see very little pollution. And by the way I have never done anything to anybody, it was our anscestors that did the fighting, and it was the same as any other war. So Seriously STFU!

land should not be made into property. to have this exclusive property you must deprive other people. this causes suffering; loss of choice, loss of freedom, loss of wellbeing and loss of life. land is priceless. it was proven by the law courts that this land was stolen and then it was proven that the legal system was not made to protect wronged people but to protect the interests of those who have wealth and power. they offered money. anyone, except the goverment can be forced to sell their land.
