Het is 1946: de Tweede Wereldoorlog is voorbij. De vreugde over de bevrijding leidt tot veel geboortes. Tussen 1946 en 1955 worden er maar liefst 2,4 miljoen kinderen geboren: de generatie Babyboom. Deze animatie van het Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek verbeeldt hun leven: luid protesterende Nozems in de jaren zestig, massaal met pensioen vanaf 2011. En hoe ziet Nederland er in 2040 uit, als er 4,6 miljoen 65-plussers zijn?
