How to Get RINGTONES for the iPhone, 3G, and 3GS on 3.0, 3.0.1, 3.1, and 3.1.2 FIRMWARE

This is a really easy way to get Ringtones for your iphone.

1. Make a new folder in your Documents named, "iPhone Ringtones"
2. Open iTunes and choose a song u want as a ringtone
3. Trim the song to the part u like the most, but it has to be EXACTLY 30 SECONDS
4. After u are done choosing your part, right click on the song and hit Get Info
5. Go into "Options' and then change the start time and stop time of ur trim
6. After u Trim right Click on the song and click, "Create AAC Version"
7. After it makes a duplicate, drag the file into ur ringtones folder u created and the beginning
8. Change the extension of the file to .m4r
9. Now Drag into ur itunes ringtones folder and SYNC

kk, follow these instructions:

1.go into documents

2.go to organize

3.Click Folder and Search Options

4.go to View

5. UNCHECK THE BOX THAT SAIS,

"Hide Extensions for Known File Types"

6.Apply it

7.Now try the ring tone process again
