Differences between American Girl Samantha 1986, 1990's, and after 2000

This video will show the differences between the very earliest Samantha 1986, Samantha 1990's, and Samantha after 2000. Mattel bought out Pleasant Company around 1998. It took several years to begin seeing changes in the newer dolls. Collectors will pay a lot of money for the older 1986-1990 dolls. OMG THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH! I just did the string/squishy face test on my Felicity doll and she....HAS A SQUISHY FACE AND FLATISH STRINGS! shes a 1990! YAYYYYAYAYYAAYAYYAYAY thank you soooo much!!! i would never know her year group without this video!

im confused mine looks and has almost all the charistics as the 1990's doll but her face isn't squishy at all. would that mean shes a later 1990's doll?

thank you for making this video because i got a smantha on e-bay and she doesn't look like the most reccent style and she doesn't have a white body so she must be from the 1990's so thanks :D
