john martyn has a broad scottish accent, does not sound like him?

@redgaryt It is him. If you type in "John Martyn Solid Air 1987" you'll see a performance which took place a year after this interview was recorded. His accent is quite clearly the same. And to the people who complain about the bad sound quality - I didn't record this! I downloaded it somewhere and I didn't have the means to edit it/slow it down, but I figured a sped up, crappy version was better than nothing.

Just changed my mind. Recorded a section of this and slowed it down to 88%, and it IS John, using his London accent, as Mr. Toucana says.

@ginnyxwotsit thanks for downloading and then uploading this-i recognise john martyns voice -i saw an hour long documentary about him and featuring him live all through it -last week on bbc4.

by the way if u havent seen the documentary about john martyn-and im not a fan of his-but i found it thoroughly entertaining and very interesting-during the documentary he had his leg amputated and claimed to have been shot twice and stabbed twice and suffered pancratic failiure -he uses many accents to
