Any idea what the tunes are called? I've just got a cuckoo clock with the same movement, but different tunes... I am thinking mine are 1 POP GOES THE WEASEL? 2 ? 3 HERE COMES THE BRIDE?

Could be something interfering with the fan. The one I had on the video controlled the music box by intersecting with the fan and stopping it. Others have a different shut-off mechanism built into the music box. Most of the later ones will finish the song before shutting off.

Fascinating. I've had a movement not too dissimilar to this one. It was probably a little more modern - say 1950s - Gebr Kuner which played 2 melodies. Thanks for sharing.
