It's obvious you intend goodness & this is not an opposition to your intentions. However, I believe some of your perceptions are incorrect. A generalized reading of books is the causation of generalized effects. Hardly would society be enlightened if only materials such as Dr. Seuss & the Communist Manifesto were read. i see, but i am saying that book reading causes a mass enlightenment, and i do see an attempt at authoritatrianism being implemented, but the attempts have failed- look at the demonstrations against petty issues caused by Obama, if he were to take a way civil liberties there would be riots.
