Just playin with my fancy shmancy new projector and testing how it looks on camera. I'd guesstimate the image on my wall is roughly 100 inches diagnal (big upgrade from my 42 inch samsung!) In the beginning of the video i'm talking about something that i'll probably show in my review that some settings don't appear very kickass on camera. There were things that i wanted to point out for anybody researching this projector since it seems like there were next to NO helpful videos of this when i was looking into buying this:

-no screen door effect
-black levels are pretty amazing. Even comparable to my samsung plasma
-colors look vibrant and not washed out
-at 2500 lumens, this projector can get pretty fucking bright. And this isn't even on the bright setting. Standard all the way

More videos to come and a mini review showing how it looks during the day with the windows open all the way, gameplay and blu-ray movies

  • is it good for sports?

and is it good for daytime viewing?

  • @74steve67 It runs at a 60hz refresh rate, so it's pretty good for sports. Won't be as good as a 240hz tv (which i currently use) You won't see too many jaggies with a lot of motion. And at 2500 lumens, it's one of the brightest home theater projectors you can get. Most are around 1500. I could still play call of duty with the windows open at noon in the living room.

  • can you tell me the name of the screen ???

  • @hkhk19944 What screen? This confuses me. It's projected onto a wall

  • Sup. I'm thinking about buying this projector to read a lot of text via connecting from my laptop. How does smaller text look on websites and text editors? Do you think it would be a better idea to spend more and go for a 1080p projector, or do you think the 720p HD66 that you have is still good for reading text? Is there a big difference between 720p and 1080p projectors since the screen is so large? I know this one has unusually high lumens,s so maybe that would help?

  • Really useful video. I don't have a lot to spend and I can get one of these for a decent price on ebay, £160 in the UK - you made my mind up for me. It will be mine.

  • This projector looks outstanding. I'm happy to buy it in some days :D

  • @soulweaponry just love it

  • OMG i have made my choice thanks to you. Cheers.

  • Great video. I agree they need more vids from customers to help others decide. I was debating on this HD66 or an HD20.
