Is the one to the right Anastasia? If it is her, than she also seems more nicer than the other sister. Did the original story mentioned that she was the less evil sister?

@alonzo9772 I'm not sure, but the stepsisters' names were different in the 1964 version than the one with Whitney Houston and Brandy. I still like this version better :o)

I'm 50 years old and remember this from TV 4 decades ago. IMHO, this is THE version of the song - better than Disney & Brandy's version much later. It was a made-for-television production; and the reproduction here is poor (although a much better version has been blocked by YouTube). But overall, I love this version because the song stands on its own without resorting to slapstick humour (falling in the fountain - are you listening, Disney?!)

@mamabear0106 In the Disney version the names are Drizella and Anastasia. In the 1957 Julie Andrew's Version the Names are Joy and Portia. In this Version blue is Prunella and Pink is Esmerelda. In the Brandy version the black sister is Minerva and the skinny white sister is Calliope. and in the tour show the names are Joyce and Grace.

@neetrab ...Pat Caroll is 84 years old now and lives right down the street from my parents. Shes still very active and always funny, just like she was back then ! Shes a great woman...you can see her interviewed here on Youtube (in her house) if you type her name in the search bar

I was watching a clip of a scene from the movie "songcatcher" in my music history class, and looked up a woman who played a part on that movie and didn't realize it was the woman here named Pat Carroll. LOL! I always LOVED this cinderella. Oh by the way... I went back to school..I'm in my 30's.. So yea, I've seen this when I was a little girl in the 80's.
