  • What did one Deadhead say to another when they ran out of pot?

    Man, this band sucks!

Always loved the joke....and I am a fan of the band!

  • Ooh yeah, this is terrible. I never understood what all the fuss was about in the first place. I think I like about a half-dozen studio tracks by them, half of which carry on too long for my taste. Live Dead almost always sounds like crap to me. I do, however, like the one with Pigpen singing Hard to Handle from 1970, but even that one they could have capped off after about 3 1/2 minutes.

  • Jerry came a long way from playing an SG to what he had when he had his Custom Brown one he had till the End of his Playing time!

  • Old or new Dead It's all wonderful

  • dont eat the brown acid

  • @zendishwasher2 I bought Skeletons from the Closet and was expecting Iron Butterfly, or Black Sabbath.... Been a long strange trip ever since.

    PIGPEN WAS

    AND IS NOW FOREVER

    ONE OF THE

    GRATEFUL DEAD

  • whoever is bashing the dead for lack of soul. i have to tell you that this ain't the best recording of love light. i have a copy from 1971 at the hollywood palladium that is awesome! its like 25 minutes long. i dont have any video to put to it but i will try and put something together just so you can hear what they really sound like when they are on and have a good recording device.

  • first album i bought was long strange trip, thought it was heavy metal. changed my life. love you all.

  • love you pigpen! classic!
