  • @jgg87 You do realize that "Thriller" was the best selling album of all time right??

  • @jgg87 True enough, I don't. Though when two people with a shared opinion sit beside you, you are not obligated to reshape your differing opinion for them. This is a world of individuals with individual thought processes and opinions. Simply because a majority might share one opinion does not negate the opinion of a minority. I'm speaking generally though. I personally don't care whether Lennon's death or Michael's was more shocking. I have more important things to worry about.

  • @XtremeDreamerX Yeah, but I´m afraid opinion does not change facts, pal. You don't live alone in the world.

  • Shoulda been number 101 not #2

  • @jgg87 Research*

The level of shock at the death of any icon is subjective to the individual. One may find the death of MJ more shocking than Lennon's and visa versa.Don't judge greatness by a list, judge it for yourself. If you prefer Lennon to Michael, that's a personal preference on your part. Why do you care so much about who sees it the other way around? How about you aspire greatness yourself instead of living vicariously through the greatness of others(those you read on these omniscient lists)

  • @Nikkideniro MJ is not even amongst the top 30 greatest artists of all time (according to Rolling Stone magazine), while The Beatles top that list, as well as the list made by VH1 and practically every list you'll ever see in your life. Any easy search on google will show you how much catching up and reasearch on music and its history you still have ahead of you.

Don't confuse popularity with greatness, you little high school teenage fan boy.

    ;)

  • Michael was an excellent performer. His death was shocking and terrifying but John's seemed to be more due to the more fame John had than Michael. No, none of them were horrible. They are both kings and gods.

  • Why ya mad MJ is #1. MJ is god to lennon!!

  • @Nikkideniro Yeah, how come MJ sold less than The Beatles, even though he was a POP artist.
