@6Hendrik The sticking for the "Boston Lick" is RLRRLLRRLRLLRRLL. In other words, it's one half of a single paradiddle followed by a five stroke roll. The proper name for the term (according to Jeff Queen) is the "paradiddle-five stroke". I use it ALL the time. Search "Jeff Queen Paradiddle Five Stroke" and you will find a video of Jeff Queen explaining the rudiment, and also showing some different exercises to help improve it. Hope this helped!

Could somebody tell me, where can i find johhny rabb's boston lick ? Please help me.
-
Haha, I know! What was that about?!
-
@blight4hire nah hes alternating single strokes between the tom and kick, basicly using the tom as his first bass drum and actual bass drum as his second
-
i think he's just hitting the bass drum and floor tom together at the same time to get that deeper sound that can be thought of as double bass
-
i give props to this guy cuz he use a single pedal....:) nice...and he got the chops of a black man
-
is that a "peppamint" variation I heard in the 32nd note demo?
-
