I wrote this song to honor one of the jazz greats of the 1920s, Leon Bix Beiderback (1903-1931)
My friend Mic Gillette of the super group Tower of Power performed on cornet. Steve McArthur and Richard Restivo of the Black Irish Band also performed along with with Margie Butler of Golden Bough and Greg Rogers(drums). The song is a slow Waltz in memory of a young man and His horn. At the top of his fame he left this world behind.

The recording was live and is just a raw sample of what we did that evening. The song is featured on the NEW Black Irish Band 20th year celebration album, titled- "TWENTY". go to www.blackirish.com or CD BABY if interested.
