I have two bettas a red and white halfmoon and the cheap one haha , But the the CHEAP on kept making the bubble nest but he havent seen a FEMALE yet ?

Many happy, healthy males will bubble nest without ever seeing a female. It doesn't mean either is more virulent when it comes to breeding. By introducing a female in close proximity but not in harms way you should see either showing off and, once they've calmed a little, bubble nesting in the hopes of getting lucky! BTW, cheap doesn't mean lesser or poorer quality, more often than not they are stronger fish because their breeding hasn't been limited to certain betta strains or inbreeding.

No, he was catching them. To put them in his nest. If they get left on the bottom they get fungus and the eggs die. He keeps them clean and safe in the bubble nest.

Thought I'd just add that some of his brothers are currently for sale on Aquarist classifieds(UK) if anyone is interested.
