@sGreenWasp This is less sizzle, no OCD,"1960 Fender Bassman-Hendrix and General Amp Troubleshooting" or this, "1960 Tweed Bassman-Hendrix Tone Sound Check #1", both just pure Bassman. The early Marshall was an exact copy of the Bassman circuit except they had to use British parts.

Yeah, millstap, it's the closest I'll come to doing anything like Buddy does.
Great informative videos. Much appreciated. Keep up the good work.

@Budyguy222222 A man after my own heart, using Buddy Guy as a username.

Is it just me or does @millstap sound like Billy Gibbons?

@sellarsmitchell I've got a lot of Texan in me. Dusty Hill used to have a beach house somewhere in Bacliff and we used to jam in the '70's in the Bacliff and San Leon down the street. That is where he is from. I used to play frat parties in Austin. I know the sound and people well. There is something in the water there. I graduated from Clear Creek High in League City just down the street. My best friend still lives in Clear Lake. I love that area.

@millstap You sure you're not a famous guitarist? Because you sure sound like one... haha but more to the point of the video, that's one beautiful Amp you have yourself there and i really like that tone you're getting from it... Do you know if there are any amps made currently that replicate that sound?

@sellarsmitchell Victoria amps became famous for their Bassman clones. That is the beauty of YouTube and why I started making videos in the first place; so people could find out how an amp sounds before they spend big bucks on one. I think you can come close with one of the good clones or a good kit which is a lot of fun to build. You would probably have to play if for years before it started sounding really good. Using NOS tubes may help. Old pine helps in the cabinet if you can find it.
