@BadBitchJordynn I think she really did hate hollywood and knowing how independent-minded and rebellious she was she would not have been happy to be part of the studio system that most actors of her day had to comply to. It's really incredible how she became such a huge global megastar without any help from hollywood. I don't think anyone ever again outside of the US will be able to attain such stardom without being part of hollywood in one way or another.

@highlanderclan Hollywood NEVER got BB! She never made a single film in hollywood, in fact hollywood came knocking on her doors and she kept saying no. The only "hollywood" movie she made was "Dear Brigitte" (w/ James Stewart) but for her scene it was filmed in France. Till this day she's the only true global superstar who didn't rely on Hollywood for her fame, can't say that about anyone.
