Have you heard about the potential eruption scenario of Alaska's Mount Redoubt? Yes, the Alaska Volcano Observatory (AVO) is monitoring the volcano and yes, certain documents mention that the "most likely" scenario will be an eruption similar to one that occurred in 1989-90. An eruption of this nature, by all means, may cover the residents of Alaska's Kenai Peninsula and city of Anchorage with a "fall-out" of ash. This ash is said to be hazardous with regard to skin and eye contact as well as breathing. After interviewing several individuals who went through the 1989-90 eruption and ash "fall-out", the conclusion is to stay in doors until the ash-fall subsides (if, ofcourse, the mountain spits ash).
Anyways, to get to the main point, lets get back to this "tanker business".
The video here shows a tanker passing by Alaska's Mount Redoubt (2009).
A good guess would be to say that there may be a tanker like this passing the mountain during an eruption that could occur any day now.
For the viewers information, this video was documented on February 1st 2009 at 11 am.
