Rick Beckham playing his solo "XLR8".
He's won DCA a few times and is a very good rudimental snare drummer.

  • DO YOU HAVE TO PLAY MATCH GRIP FOR HIGHSCHOOL DRUMLINE?

    nice vid btw

  • Depends on the director's or instructor's preference. I personally prefer traditional.

  • haha sped up. u suck!

  • Haha, hate to tell you, but you're wrong. You suck.

Oh by the way, it's not me, so why don't you find Rick's channel and try to tell him that. Hope I bruised your ego a bit there.

  • j'ai vu l'original et celle ci a été mis en accéléré.

  • Not to mention, as someone said below, if it were fast-forwarded the pitch would go up. Point is, this guy spends more time practicing than all you idiots spend with your heads in your asses... which is impressive.

  • @Chuvachillo77

32nds at 144 with good quality is not a problem for most drummers who have honed their craft - rick beckham is the man

  • Notice the guy whose screen name is "MotleyCrue4LYFE" has no idea what's going on in the world of rudimental drumming.

I happen to know Rick personally, have been to his house and have watched him play this personally. The man's a monster.

But he's no Tommy Lee, right? Ahahahahaha!

  • This is a kind of world rudimental champion. He can play everything, even 32nd notes at 144 bpm is not a big problem.

  • Even more common sense: if it were fast forwarded, it wouldn't sound like a drum. This guy isn't even the "fastest" rudimental drummer out there. Go look up JJ Pipitone. Tell him he fast forwarded his videos and you'll get an even bigger laugh than you'll get here.
