Sample footage from an awesome quest in Icecrown, where the spirit of Arthas Menethil Appears to you in the form of a young ghost boy named Matthias Lehner (Anagram for Arthas Menethil) who makes some massive revelations about his past.

In this section, which is abridged so as not to reveal anything, the player becomes Arthas and needs to defeat Illidan, only to reveal a massive plot twist

  • I love how the quest give is like "This is the spot where for the first and only time Illidan came close do dying"

And then you find out it's Illidan!

    I was like AMG!!!! WC3!!!

  • Yeah, xD

  • yeah, took me a while to figure out you needed to kick him back then use the last ability.

  • is this a DK quest?

  • Nope, anybody who starts the chain quests with Matthias Lehner can do it.

Matthias Lehner is an anagram of Arthas Menethil... everyone thinks he is the good spirit of the Dark Prince.

  • haha unequip the sword keep in bag log out. Thank You!

  • have you folks seen the brand new rogue hack which enables you to cheat in arena? its incredible, my rogue is now in maximum arena pvp equipment 2200 rating! i dont really really want to share this but what the heck.. you can aquire it on wowcheatsYnet (replace Y with . ) however please don't tell too many people!

  • Dam you did pretty good.

  • whats the bame of that quest

  • anyone can take it.. it starts near icecrown citadel, which leads to going underground and finding that "good" bit of arthas' soul and doing quests for him.. revealing stuff

  • That wasn't his soul you destroyed, it was his humanity. His soul is still there, but all that's left is the evil part of him. So he's beyond repentance. Also, if you read between the lines, you kind of realize it was Arthas' idea to take out his heart, not Ner'Zhul.

  • he sucks at fighting
