Bella Madre 2009 - Harmony Park - Geneva Lake, Minnesota - Almost Sunset Saturday

It was almost sunset on Saturday or wait Friday? No it was Saturday for sure and I was spread eagle on the Harmony Park lawn with two of my favorite people. None other than Mego O and Roy! I love these two! This is my favorite video so far from the weekend that I've salvaged! Partly cuz of Mego and Roy :-) But also cuz of the beautiful panorama shot! Thanks for helping direct guys! I love you both!

2:52 there i am at the front in my red and black baja hoodie and funky shorts. this festival also turned out to be a nightmare for me cause i woke up and everyone smashed and ate my food and drank all my water and beer and my friends who had my stuff in their van took off and no one would give me water. awesome!

ha ya no kidding! someone stole my bro's guitar out of his car at project earth a few years back.. so upsetting. (probably the same guys yelling: pharms. hahah those stupid assholes)

I love this post. I completely agree with everything you said. There are more and more spunions at the park every year. It is not about getting completely out of your mind, it is about the music. If you want to indulge in a little whiskey sit back spark one and enjoy the music that is cool. People just need to learn there limits. One last thing stealing things at the park is probably the worst karama you can bring upon yourself.

NOTE: the best time i had out at these festivals was the time i was completely sober (ha not the madre). it just seems like some fellows out there take it a bit overboard. The crowd at harmony has changed a lot since 1999. Each year it gets slightly more drunk and less about the music. (Scumy knows exactly what im talkin bout! probably why i haven't seen him out there for a while) Just remember this is Jay's backyard.. not a magical enchanted forest to get fucked up at. just enjoy the music! :)

i remember seein you two just chillin there! ya make yourselves very recognizable :) i think everybody had a great time at the madre. if anybody didn't make it to the Sol or the Luna years prior to this you missed out. make sure i see you all out there next year! (maybe at any other venue out at harmony too) Im considering being the Sober videographer at a few of these.
