Recently, I finished the game Little King's Story for the Wii. Not only was it by far the best game I've played in all of 2009, but it also had an amazing soundtrack. So, I decided to upload the music from all eight of the game's bosses, as these songs really stand out. However, I am willing to accept requests for any other song. Just make your request in the comments or send me a message. I hope you enjoy!

Since this video is so popular, here's the mp3 for anyone who wants to download the song:

and here is the same file as a .wav:

Obviosuly, this song is a remix of "The Infernal Gallop" from Offenbach's opera "Orpheus in the Underworld". Or, as most people probably know it, the Can-Can!

  • In the cutscene where he was rising up, what was that song?

  • That would be Dvorak's New World Symphony. I can upload it if you would like =P

  • Really? Thanks.

  • No problem. Wait a few days, though, as I have other request to upload.

  • Now this was quite worthy final king battle. So much fun, so much confusion (what the hell? My soldiers turned into carpenters? Huh?).

This and Long Sauvage are incredible boss fights, and some of the best i have faced in a long LONG time.

  • I agree but this is not the final king battle.

  • @plijuh123 You speak valid truth. It is obvious that this music is not 100% made by them. I just seem to love orchestral classical music, instrumental music, and video game music. Touhou easily has the best BGM in the world in my opinion, pikmin and pikmin 2 are in second place. If one does not count little king's story then third place goes to the entire paper mario series.

  • @ShizukuMizuchi1 Classic music remixes, may or may not count as the game's own music. Also, you may have to listen to other games soundtracks because there are many original masterpieces around.

  • @ShizukuMizuchi1 More or less.

  • Pikmin 1 and 2 has very similar gameplay as this game, am I right?

  • @romantistcaveman Some of the best video game music in the world resides in this game alone, and is only beaten by two game series: the Pikmin series, and the Touhou series.

  • Really, Little King's Story is a fantastic example of how to do a public domain soundtrack right. If any amateur game developers can't afford or can't find a composer for original pieces, I'd recommend listening to and playing through this game.

Not that it hasn't been an enjoyable game for me so far, either, but the music certainly doesn't hurt. 8D

  • @Bluewind098 I'm pretty sure its got a whole different team of developers too :(

  • @Bluewind098 Oh at least there is one though

  • @fihsy297 Well there is a sequel...... but is a Vita exclusive which I think is stupid.
