  • @davie1238 So great to hear that she is still out there and doing so well. I grew up in the 60's and her music was so special. Thanks so much for the great comment and listening to this one. She is a very, very special lady, for sure!

  • @46807nipster She sold out with a brand new show in French in Paris on Monday night 11/7. Brought the house down. Standing ovation when she walked on and a shouting screaming audience who wouldn't let her go. At 79 she introduced her new French album and a new rock song as an encore. For me it was the comedy that made is all so great. She isn't just musical and sexy, she's funny too. So much talent in one small woman.

  • @azw596 You are very welcome! You are right, she has a very distinctive voice and sound that has thrilled my ears since the first time I heard "Downtown". I have been a fan ever since! I would love to see her in concert. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!

  • Lovely treatment of these beautiful lyrics. Her distinctive sound, which of course we all became aware of mid-sixties, is so easily recognizable. She held sellout concerts up here just a few years ago. Thanks for this wonderful post!
